EMPLOYMENT
Philippa has over 20 years experience as a secondary school Art and Design teacher, delivering courses from the Junior Phase to Advanced Higher. She has created opportunities for her students to work with partners such as:

Edinburgh College – Amazerealise and the Daydream Believers Programme
Edinburgh Printmakers
The Royal Botanical Gardens, Herbarium.
She has also delivered Active Learning and Visual Literacy training to all staff in her current secondary school.

Philippa has worked across sectors in Primary, Secondary, Higher and Gallery Education. For
several years she taught as a Design Studio Tutor at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and
for two years she co-ordinated the programme for pupils and teachers as the Schools’ Education Officer for the National Galleries of Scotland. During that time she wrote many resources for teachers to support school visits and an education pack titled ‘Viewpoint’ to accompany an NGS touring exhibition.
